Presentation Guidelines
This symposium is organized with two purposes. First, it provides a structured avenue for monitoring
research progress, ensuring that all funded projects remain on track and aligned with their original objectives
while also offering constructive feedback from peers, supervisors, and experts. Second, it seeks to encourage
indexed publication by motivating participants to translate their research progress into publishable manuscripts,
particularly for submission to MyCITE-indexed journals. While UMS has already achieved the maximum marks for
publications in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS), contributions to MyCITE remain limited. Because publications in
MyCITE carry substantial weight in national research assessments, your active contribution through this symposium
can help close this gap and directly strengthen both your own scholarly profile and the university’s standing.
Thus, your presentation is devided into two sections: The first part is about the progress of your research followed by the
intended paper manuscript to be published in MyCITE indexed journal.
There are two catagories of presentations
UMSGreat students.
Part 1: About your whole project (4 minutes)
